Eating More Makes You Eat More
Do you ever feel like the more you eat, the more you want to eat -- no matter how full you feel?
Recent studies suggest that increased portions contribute to the over consumption of energy and to excess body weight.
A recent study out of Pennsylvania State University involved a mix of obese and normal weight individuals and showed that increasing the portion sizes of foods led to an increase in energy intake. With the exception of fruits and vegetables, the subjects continued to overeat all foods when portion sizes were increased.
In other words, eating more, makes you eat more.
