Weight Loss May Reduce Risk of Throat Cancer
A new study from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle shows that central belly fat and hip to waist ratio shows a strong correlation to risk for what is known as Barrett’s Esophagus.
Barrett’s Esophagus is a condition in which the lower end of the esophagus becomes damaged. Barrett’s Esophagus is associated with a high risk factor for esophageal cancer.
Research continues to pile up the central midsection fat is a visual time bomb, predisposing you towards a number of unhealthful conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.
Now ad throat cancer to the list.
