BodyGlo Frequently Asked Questions
What is ORAC?
ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity, and it is the measure of a food's anti-oxidant content. Familiar anti-oxidants include vitamin E, vitamin C, and beta carotene. The higher the ORAC value in a food or supplement, the more free radicals a food can neutralize. Free radicals cause cellular damage, which is one of the primary causes of aging, and studies suggest there is also an apparent link between free radical damage and weight gain.*
What is the daily recommendation for ORAC intake?
There is no set USDA recommendation for ORAC intake yet, but researchers at the USDA have suggested an ORAC intake of 3,000 to 5,000 units per day as part of an overall health, lifetime weight loss, and anti-aging strategy. The average person gets about 1,200 ORAC units per day.*
What is BodyGlo's ORAC value?
BodyGlo has been clinically tested by Brunswick Laboratories-- the leader in ORAC testing-- and shown to have an ORAC of 7,581 per serving.
How much is a 'serving'?
Unlike other companies that try to conceal their low ORAC values by using huge scoops or citing the ORAC value of their entire container, BodyGlo provides over 7,500 ORAC in a single tablespoon scoop. There are 30 servings in a single container of BodyGlo, which equals 227,430 ORAC units per container!
How is BodyGlo different than other Superfoods, greens, or reds products on the market?
BodyGlo is not another 'greens' or 'reds' product. BodyGlo is a concentration of over 70 different fruits and vegetables, with both greens (vegetables) and reds (fruits). BodyGlo doesn't stop there. BodyGlo's powerful formula of carefully selected ingredients contains enzymes, co-enzymes, anti-oxidants, fiber, vitamins, minerals, phyto-nutrients, and non-dairy probiotic cultures, that can support the immune system and help maintain an alkaline pH. *
Is BodyGlo natural? Are there any additives?
BodyGlo contains NO added sugar, yeast, colorings, alcohol, preservatives, artificial flavorings, salt, gluten, oils, stabilizers starch, milk derivatives, or maltodextrin, and is Vegan friendly and lactose FREE. BodyGlo is manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility regulated by strict state and Federal government standards to ensure a quality product you can count on.
Does BodyGlo taste good?
You may have tried other green food or Superfood supplements and not liked the taste. BodyGlo is different. Not only does one scoop of BodyGlo equal multiple servings of fruits and vegetables, but BodyGlo's formula was carefully developed, incorporating an abundant amount of fruits, to make it taste great (like fruit punch). In fact, if you don't like the taste, simply return BodyGlo for a full refund in accordance with our standard terms and conditions. We are confident, however, if you have tried other Superfood products, you will taste the difference in your first glass.
How should I take BodyGlo for maximum results?
As a dietary supplement, mix one (1) scoop of BodyGlo with water or your favorite beverage. For best results, BodyGlo should be taken once or twice daily. Bodyglo can be taken with, or between meals.
