I too Think popcorn is always a healthy choice for me and used to have the same while watching movies (only at home not in theaters, as they are the disaster). But the matter is from where you get it. Among the super weight watching snacks choices are Microwave popcorn with light ingredients or air popped popcorn.
Theater popcorn often popped in high fat oils with buttery toppings, made you to absorb more calories and fats and become diet disaster. |

I have never thought of popcorn as weight loss food... I don't add salt or butter when I make it, but I think some is already added by the manufacturer? |

I don't put salt on my popcorn and only spray a touch of butter to get the taste. It isnt' like I am soaking it in butter like I use to. |

Popcorn with butter? Are you serious? Butter is all fats, it will never work as it should, think about it. And salt makes you gain weight. I wouldn't risk it. |

Munching on low fat popcorn is a great snack for weight loss. I usually will spray it with a mist of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray to give it a little buttery taste. |
