Fair enough. No I have not used Acai Berry for weight loss, but in all fairness, no credible evidence exists that it actually works for weight loss. It is simply a good source of natural polyphenols which act as anti-oxidants.

We have written extensively here on the proper role of anti-oxidants in dealing with inflammation. You can take the same logic used to justify Acai Berry for weight loss and apply it to grape seed extract or vitamin c. In fact, you can take that idea to its logical extreme and take 10,000 plus ORAC units a day of anti-oxidants with products like BodyGlo, which is far more potent in terms of anti-oxidant power but is not touted for weight loss.

I think you can buy the actual berries, but you'd have to search for a place that sells them. I've heard that they're very effective, and that they taste like red wine and chocolate.
