Set yourself up to succeed. Bring only healthy snacks such as nuts, fruit, or baked goods with protein powder and reduced sugar. Also, bring lots of water. Drinking plenty of it will fill your stomach and make you less hungry as well as keep you hydrated and less likely to drink sugar and calorie-laced soda.

Do you find certain events challenging? I go to my sons wrestling tournaments on the weekends. We sit for hours on bleachers. To pass the time, we usually snack. I was doing so well on my diet until last weekend when I was at one of these tournaments. All the parents bring different snacks and we all sit there, chat and eat! Not a good atmosphere for someone trying to watch their weight.

What are some of your challenges?
