2008 was a really good year for me. I turned 40, and I actually hit a 500 pound squat and pulled a 451 deadlift. I got my bench up to 250, which I'm happy with, but would love to hit 3-something some day. I even won the physique contest at the IronMan in Fresno. No offense, but that is the first (and last) time I ever pose down. It was hilarious, I had no idea what I was doing! I'm taking this year off from competing, still doing light stuff at home. My husband and I see Steve often, helping him out at competitions. It's nice that we've been able to remain good friends. I'm glad to hear that things are going well for you. Keep in touch! |

Hey Dean,
Very nice 10 page spread in the April 2009 Iron Man magazine. It has been a while since I've seen you, and I belive I fell off a curb the last time we got together. Hope all is well.
Congratulations,
Lisa "formally Denison" Wheeler |
