I did weight watchers for a while. It helped to go to the meetings and be held accountable for your weight loss. The support groups were so encouraging.
My down fall with this is the expense. It was expensive to sign up and then I had weekly dues. Loosing weight is not the cheapest thing to do.
Have you ever tried Weight Watchers or known anybody who has? Any encouraging stories? |

I also did weight watchers for a while. I've treid almost everything. I didn't like counting points. I thought it was too confusing. And it was expensive. I didn't lose much weight on it. |

A friend of mine tried it once. She thought it was too expensive and way too confusing to deal with. |

Did you like the support it gave you though? Or did that not help at all?
I found that because you have to weigh in each week--I would behave only because I was weighing in in front of a whole bunch of people.
I would have stuck with it if the price wasn't so outrageous. |

I would think that weighing in in front of a bunch of people would be nerve-wracking and uncomfortable. |

tigger, weighing yourself in front of others can not only be uncomfortable but not always an indication of weight loss. weight loss manifests itself in different ways such as inch loss, changes in body mass index etc. so the scale is not always a good way to measure your progress! |

My aunt did weight watchers, I think she probably still is.
She lost a LOT of weight. I don't know how much exactly, but she must have been over 300 pounds, now she is probably 160 or so (I'm guessing).
And she's kept the weight off, it's been a few years now. |
