Most people consider swimming as a leisure activity rather as a form of exercise. However swimming if done consistently helps us from bone problems and hear troubles in the future.

I have one major problem with this. I cannot swim and have a huge fear of water. It is so bad that I won't even go near a puddle and refuse to take a bath!! Embarassed

Swimming is a great all round exercise, I agree, but unfortunately not for me.

I found this to be a huge cardio boost whenever I go lane swimming, it makes you really appreciate how easy the pros make it look. Every muscle in your body gets a workout!

I don't have my own swimming pool at home but I still manage to swim 3 times a week in the pool of my neighbor. I love swimming at night. It's not only a good form of exercise but also a good activity to relieve stress.

I love to swim, but there's nowhere close for me to swim except the ocean and there are way too many creatures in it.

Swimming is also extremely relaxing because it allows more oxygen to flow to your muscles and forces you to regulate your breathing. It’s also a great way to relieve stress.

I use to take water aerobics and it was a blast! It was such fun and didn't seem at all like exercise.
Swimming certainly is good exercise. We have a pool and my kids are in it all summer long. I love it because they are getting exercise all summer long.

Swimming is one of the all-time best ways to drop weight. When you mix it with aerobics you can burn even more calories.
