I enjoy walking, but I have heel spurs and walking long distances on concrete is heck on my feet. I have good sneakers that are made for walking but it still doesn't make a difference. The only place to walk on grass is a trail at the local park, but during the winter it's closed. I try to take shorter walks around the neighborhood and do some walking in place to different music as an alternative. |

walking also prolonged your lifespan. My grandfather is in his 80's. His exercise routine, he walks for about 45 to 60mins almost everyday. I think hes even better shape me. lol. |

Walking is real nice and good to our body especially when we walk outside when the sun shines very well. At the same time those body fats stored in us are get ridden. But can I equate the walking I do while shopping in malls, do you think I am burning the same amount of calories? |

If I can't go out for a walk especially when the weather isn't so accomodating, I just walk up and down the stairs. It helps me burns fats too, I sweat the same. |
