I'm really surprised no one else is talking about getting too hot during cardio.
This made a HUGE difference in my recovery from cardio. I was able to go again the next day. Joel - how did you come upon this? |

Make a big dif doesn't it?
I came some research on exercise induced endotoxemia while I was putting the book together that led to the basic concepts. I tried it on about a dozen people, all of them noticed tremendously better results. |

It was kind of good timing for me. I've been doing a lot of cardio recently and really sweating like crazy. This helped a lot. I live in Texas. What do I do during the summer? |

I just finished the book last week. I started the cardio modifications. Very excited. The pace vs push thing you point out made a HUGE difference. Only question is I'm having a hard time figuring out just what constitutes not getting too hot during cardio. The 'more push' thing really helped, but I heat up quickly, so where is the breaking off point? I understand I don't want to be dripping sweat but what about a light sweat? It's hard to increase the push and not sweat so I'm a bit confused. |

I have to comment on this. I read your book. I'm definately one of those people who sweat like a race horse during cardio. My recovery is a whole lot better now. I don't feel so worn out the next day. The only thing is, and this is probably a mental thing, I don't feel like I'm working as hard. |
