I was looking for a good diet pill and read about your Cst Boost at one of these diet pill review sites. I like the depth of information here so I'm not sure what to think. What is the story on these diet pill review sites? It doesn't say who is doing the review or what their credentials are. |

Basically these sites are a scam. They do fake diet pill reviews in order to sell products they manufacture. How it works is
1. You get an anonymous "diet pill review". The review itself is simply a ruse to do a bait and switch. It's called "Brand Skimming", where under the ruse of being objective, these fly by night companies try to use the demand of a legitimate brand to get people to try their junk products.
2. After the fake diet pill review, you get the "top reviewed products". These products are actually all manufactured by the same guys who do the fake diet pill review.
In fact, you will find several "diet pill review" sites all with the same "top reviewed products". Here is the real whammy - They are all the same company!
These fake diet pill reviews are the brainchild of a brother duo out of Utah named Garrett Devore and Steve Devorre run under a number of anonymous companies like Blackstone Nutrition, Sybervision and Orovo. Simply Google "Garrett Devore", "Blackstone Nutrition" "Steve Devore scam", and you will see one complaint after another. For more laughs, go to yahoo answers and paste in this question id "20070815075126AAbqu0m" - very nice and long running dialogue on these fake diet pill reviews.
These dudes operate dozens of fake review websites that are all really just ruses for selling their products. The majority of their website content is simply scammed off of other sites. In fact I found several blurbs that were amazingly similar to stuff I have written here at LookCut. One of their fake diet review sites is fatburner.net. Their top reccomended products are names like adipexin, fenphedra, leptorexin.
If you want a good laugh, just look up the Whois information for both the diet pill review sites and the products. They are all hosted on the same servers!
Dietscamsexposed has run some very good stuff on these dudes. The basic gist of it is this - beware of anonymous web sites and companies. We put ourselves out in the light of day because this is our passion. We live it and want to put good information out. The scammers all hide behind anonymity. |

It's critical you know who is giving your weight loss advice. The web allows a lot of anonymity so it makes it difficult to know what to believe. These scam diet pill review sites and scam products owe their prominence to guys who know search marketing, but don't know much about nutrition. |

After reading what you guys wrote I went to a few of the sites you listed. I can't believe anyone would listen to that junk. In their About section they say "FatBurner.net is dedicated to providing you with unbiased fat burner and diet pill reviews." What a joke. Just like you said, all the top products are the same on all their sites. That doesn't seem unbiased to me. |

Ok, so the company is definitely a scam. I wish I would have known that before, but live and learn I guess. But now I have the pills and so what do I do? How can I find out if these things are safe?
These are the ones I bought: patentrim |

don't take any diet pills! I see far too many people who buy diet pills before they even start exercising. if you are going to try diet pills you should have put in at least 3 months of solid exercise so that when you start the pills you will already have a eating and exercise routing in place. |

I never thought diet pills were all that good for you in the first place. Can't they be dangerous? |

Diet pills are supplements. And just like the name implies, they supplement your other efforts. They can jump start a program, give you energy, and assists weight loss if using proven ingredients. They are not magic bullets, and can be dangerous if the label requirements are not followed (like any supplement or medication). However, they shouldn’t be condemned out of hand.
I have plenty of clients who use them with great results, and plenty of others who don’t with equally great results. It is a personal preference. After working all day, the last thing most people want to do is go to the gym. So, some take them for the energy they provide (or knowing the cost of the pills, they are accountable financially). There are also a lot of products out now that curb appetite or minimizing late night snacking, which can aid weight loss. As I said, it is really a personal preference. I don’t use them with any great regularity, but do find them helpful for pushing past a plateau in my training. |

What a scam... I remember wondering about it when I had first began to investigate diet pills - reviews, "top ten" lists, and the lists are the same. At first, I did not think that people would stoop that low as to create fake reviews and give out false info... I was wrong. They would. |

Thank you, but I'm not sure how much help I am.
I'm just glad I managed to find a place on-line that actually gave good, honest information about diet pills and supplements. |
