So, I am starting a new thread for women who have just had babies and are trying to get those last 10-15 lbs. off. Although I am fortunate to know how to do it, it is not at all easy. This was my second child, and I had her 11 years after my first. All I can say is 11 years definitely has made a difference. I have about 10 lbs to go, am losing weight carefully because I am breastfeeding, and need to keep up my milk supply. Just wondering where other women are in their post-baby progress? |

I really put on a lot of weight during my pregnancy. I've been doing 30 minutes of cardio every day, but it just seems like I have so much to lose - 45 lbs! Should I just keep on the slow and steady with what I'm doing or is there a faster way to get the weight off? |

45 lbs may seem like a substantial amount-Don't worry ...it sounds like your taking right steps w/ your cardio.Have you tried adding small hand weights?
I use Coco Trim and it has helped me! I began to see the results I was hoping for. It was a noticable difference in such a short time. Hope you've enjoyed your Thanksgiving! |

Well, I've had four kids so I know how it is to get rid of that baby weight! I am currently at the weight I started at with my fourth child, but I'm about one hundred pounds away from the weight I was when I had my first so I need to get moving! I just finished nursing my 21 month old so it's easier for me to concentrate on weightloss since I can cut my calories and see if I can get moving more. |

I have finally lost all my baby weight. It was a very long road for me, and I absolutely attribute it to the Coco Trim and CST Boost! I began taking them after I stopped nursing, and with very little exercise I still lost the weight. I'm now working on toning up the muscle and getting my six pack back:) I think I will be there in a few more weeks....It was definitely much harder for me to lose the baby weight the second time around. |

Congratulations! I have followed your story on your blog, and I must say it is very inspirational. You have overcome a lot of adversity, and I wish you all the best as you continue on your journey. |

I'm still breastfeeding my youngest babies so am keeping a steady weight going. If I don't eat enough I can see the weight loss almost instantly but I am careful now about eating regularly. When I stop breastfeeding I just know that I'll pile on the weight but I've had four children so I should know better by now! Those last few pounds really are the hardest though but motherhood can change your shape completely so what worked before won't necessarily work now. My little ones are only three months old and to be honest I don't have the time or the energy for a proper work out so I'm sticking with walking and breastfeeding for now. My own personal way of stopping snacking is to drink water, green tea and chew gum so hopefully I won't have too much weight to lose when I'm ready to start for real!
Good luck to all you mammies who are trying to get back in shape! |

Thanks for the kind words GI Jane! It has been rough, indeed, but I believe for some people it takes going through difficult situations to have a different outlook, and a deeper appreciation for the "simpler" times. Also to gain strength where it was needed. All of the above are true for me:)
Dee1, congrats on your new baby! Don't put too much pressure on yourself to lose all your baby weight this early after your delivery. I know it's so hard, believe me, but your body is still healing. Eat healthy, and enjoy walks outside with your baby to start. Also, be careful of your diet restrictions if you are breastfeeding. Let me know if you have any questions:) |

My baby is 10 months old next week....hoe¡w time flies!
Well, I have lost a lot of weight due to depression, so I suppose that does not really count. Now I feel I am getting better, I find I am eating more, and I have retained the sweet tooth that I developed during the pregnancy.
Ideally I would like to be back to my pre baby figure, but it is going to take some serious determination. I am almost there, but I cannot quite see the finishing line yet! |

I am trying to loose the wieht I gained with my 2nd baby. He is 3 months old and a hanfull. I have a hard time finding the energy to work out and prepare healthy food. At the end of the day, I just want to pass out in bed, because my 3 year old runs me ragged, and the breastfeeding doesnt help. Any suggestions on finding more energy? |

Be sure that you are drinking lots of water. I have to drink water to keep me going and especially at the beginning, I was drinking it like it was going out of style. I always tried to have a small snack while I was nursing, crackers or fruit, something that would give me a chance to relax and sit and yet I'm replacing those calories that I've giving up with the nursing.
If you can, try to fit a walk in during the day. Even ten minutes will give you some energy. HTH! |

I am a mom of 4 children. It seems that it was very easy to loose the weight from the first child. A little harder with the second. Even harder with the third, and practically impossible with the 4th. My youngest is 8 and I am20 pounds heavier that I was when I got pregnant with my first child. I don't even plan on getting down to 125 again, but would love to loose at least 10-15 pounds. |

I agree with you, it gets harder with each one! Probably because we are so busy with more kids that it just gets harder. I want to lose the 20 pounds to get me started. I think if I get those off, I can just get the rest of it off. Good luck! |

My best friend since high school just had her baby two months ago, and she's having a little trouble losing the extra weight. She's always been bigger built, so maybe it's a little more difficult for her? |
