I've recently started dieting and going to the gym. I reduced the amount of carbs I eat in a day but I seem to crave food worst than ever. Any suggestions on how to curb my appetite without supplements.

I'd also like to know about this. I find myself starving and craving food a lot lately.

maintaining a daily intake of healthy fats and proteins are a great way to halt carb cravings. lean beef, salmon, mixed nuts, avocados, flax seeds and fish oil are great foods to help keep your blood sugar in check and decrease hunger and cravings.

When eating, low carbs we are hungrier because it's carbs that fill us, have snacky foods easily available in between meals, have some boiled eggs, in the fridge, some cook pork sausages, sliced ham, mainly high protein foods that are easy to your hand and nuts are good for energy and also for filling you up.

I tend to agree with Dean. The idea of cutting carbs really misdirects us. Its not a pattern anyone can sustain. It's processed carbs that are really the problem. They promote runaway eating patterns, weight gain and cravings. It really comes down to using good fats to offset the effect of processed carbs.

All right, I see where you're going. It's a little more difficult for me, though, because there's a lot of things I can't eat.
